1. About The Perfect Bookshelf
The Perfect Bookshelf offers made-to-order modular shelving systems and related products, services, design support, and digital tools.
Our products are designed to be configured according to customer-selected dimensions, finishes, components, and layouts. Because many of our products are made to order, certain changes, cancellations, returns, and refunds may be limited as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Eligibility
By using our website or placing an order, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of residence, or that you are using the website with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present our products, finishes, dimensions, configurations, images, descriptions, and pricing accurately.
However, product images, renderings, finishes, colors, wood tones, and material appearances may vary depending on screen settings, lighting, production batches, natural material variation, and other factors.
Because our products use real wood and wood-based materials, natural variation in tone, grain, and texture may occur. These natural variations are not considered defects.
You are responsible for reviewing all product details, measurements, finish selections, configuration choices, quantities, and shipping information before placing an order.
4. Orders and Order Acceptance
Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance of the order.
We reserve the right to accept, decline, cancel, or limit any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, inaccurate information, shipping limitations, or other operational issues.
If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue an appropriate refund for the cancelled portion of the order.
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to update product pricing, shipping charges, fees, promotions, and availability at any time without prior notice.
Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, and payment information. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order, including applicable taxes, shipping, and fees.
6. Made-to-Order Products
Many of our products are made to order based on customer-selected specifications, including size, finish, configuration, and modular components.
Once a made-to-order product enters production, changes, cancellations, returns, and refunds may be limited or unavailable.

7. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timelines, eligibility, delivery procedures, damage reporting, and related terms are described in our Shipping Policy.
Production and shipping timelines are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. We make reasonable efforts to ship orders within the stated timeframe, but delays may occur due to order volume, material availability, supplier delays, carrier disruptions, seasonal demand, weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Returns, Refunds, Cancellations, and Defects
Returns, refunds, cancellations, manufacturing defects, shipping damage, and order changes are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy, and Warranty Policy, as applicable.
Because custom shelf systems and made-to-order components are produced specifically for each order, they may be final sale once production begins.
Please review all applicable policies before placing an order.
9. Design Support and Recommendations
We may provide design support, product guidance, configuration recommendations, finish guidance, or other assistance before or after purchase.
Any design support or recommendation is provided for general guidance only. You remain responsible for confirming measurements, site conditions, installation suitability, wall conditions, safety requirements, finish selections, and final order details.
The Perfect Bookshelf is not responsible for inaccurate measurements, incorrect site information, customer-selected configurations, or project changes after an order is placed.
10. Assembly, Installation, and Use
Customers are responsible for assembling, placing, and using products safely and in accordance with any instructions, guides, warnings, or recommendations provided.
Depending on the size, height, placement, wall condition, household conditions, seismic risk, child safety concerns, or other factors, additional anchoring or safety measures may be recommended or required.
Failure to follow instructions, safety recommendations, weight limits, anchoring guidance, or proper use guidelines may result in damage, instability, injury, or voiding of warranty coverage.
11. Website Use
You agree not to use our website or services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the rights of others
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
