General Conditions of Sale

Welcome to The Perfect Bookshelf. Below are our standard conditions of sale—designed to ensure transparency, trust, and a great experience for every customer. 

 1. Made Just for You 

All of our bookshelves are made-to-order based on the specifications you choose. Because each product is personalized, it cannot be returned or exchanged unless it arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete. 

 2. Order Confirmation 

Once you place your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your design, selected options, and estimated delivery timeline. Please review this carefully. If you notice any errors, contact us within 24 hours to make changes before production begins. 

 3. Production & Lead Times 

Production starts after order confirmation and payment. Lead times vary depending on your configuration and volume of orders but typically range from 2–4 weeks. You’ll receive an update once your order ships. 

 4. Delivery 

We ship across the U.S. via trusted logistics partners. Shipping fees are calculated based on ZIP code and will appear at checkout. All products are shipped flat-packed and include instructions and hardware for assembly. 

 5. Installation 

Assembly is tool-free, but we strongly recommend wall-anchoring for safety—especially in homes with children or pets. Wall-mounting is optional but requires anchoring into a solid structure. 

 6. Cancellations 

Because we begin crafting your shelf shortly after your order is confirmed, cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, the order is considered final. 

 7. Returns & Claims 

We do not accept returns for custom-made items unless there is a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or missing parts. Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Please include photos and a detailed description. We will either repair, replace, or refund at our discretion. 

 Response time: 1–2 business days 

 8. Warranty 

All components are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, incorrect installation, or natural wear and tear. 

 9. Payment & Security 

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and Shop Pay. All transactions are encrypted and securely processed. We do not store your payment details.
