Shipping Policy

At The Perfect Bookshelf, we’re committed to delivering your order safely, efficiently, and transparently. This policy outlines where and how we ship, what you can expect from our fulfillment process, and your responsibilities as a customer.

 

Where We Ship & Free Shipping Eligibility

We currently ship within the United States.

Free Ground Shipping is available on orders that meet the following conditions:

·       Shipping within the contiguous U.S. (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories).

·       Total order value of $600 or more (clearance items excluded).

We use a broker system to find you the most competitive rate.

How We Ship

·       Carriers: FedEx and UPS for standard shipments.

·       No P.O. Boxes: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Need your order faster?

·       Expedited Shipping: Overnight and 2-Day options available during checkout.

 

Processing & Shipping Timeframes

·       Shipping Days: Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM EST

·       Order Fulfillment Location: Greenwich, CT

·       Tracking Info: You will receive an email with tracking once a label is generated. Please allow up to 12 hours for tracking to activate.

Estimated Lead Times:

·       Custom Shelf Systems: Made to order; ships within 21 business days

Transit Time: Typically 2–7 business days depending on your distance from Greenwich, Connecticut.

Note: Shipping and processing timelines may vary due to seasonal volume, supplier delays, or maintenance. We'll notify you of any changes.

 

Order Accuracy & Address Changes

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Once an order enters production, address changes may not be possible. Please contact us at info@perfectbookshelf.com as soon as possible if you need to update your address.

 

Tracking & Delivery Issues

While we provide tracking details for all shipments, customers are encouraged to monitor their packages. If a package is lost, damaged, or stolen, here’s what to do:

1.       Check the tracking number with the carrier.

2.       File a claim directly with FedEx, UPS.

3.       If you suspect theft after delivery, check with neighbors or building management.

Unfortunately, we cannot replace items confirmed as delivered and then stolen.

 

Shipping Insurance

Orders over $600 are automatically insured during transit. For lower-value orders, optional insurance may be offered at checkout.

 

Force Majeure

Shipping may be delayed due to events outside our control, including but not limited to:

·       Severe weather

·       Carrier disruptions

·       Labor strikes

·       Natural disasters

·       Public health emergencies

We will make every effort to notify you of any disruption that affects your shipment.

 

Custom Order Cancellations

Custom shelf systems are made-to-order. Once production begins, modifications or cancellations are not possible. Please reach out promptly if you need to request changes before your order enters production.
